University of Queensland Animal-Assisted Interventions Alliance

Our research seeks to empirically demonstrate that live human-animal interaction has unique therapeutic effects for the general public, as well as for those populations with clinical dysfunction. South Australian Dog and Cat Management Board

The Board accredits assistance dogs under SA’s Dog & Cat Management Act 1995. Board accreditation provides a dog with access to public places in South Australia. Other states & territories may have their own legislation covering assistance dogs.
