Paw Pause provide Animal Assisted Therapy services, onsite, at schools and educational settings.

Each Paw Pause therapist is also a qualified allied health professional, bringing a range of specialised strategies, interventions, clinical skills, and discipline-specific knowledge from their respective field into every session. This ensures that therapeutic support is not only integrated within the Education environment and aligned with classroom learning, but is also underpinned by evidence-based practice relevant to the therapist’s area of expertise.

Drawing from disciplines such as occupational therapy, speech pathology, psychology, or education support, therapists are able to apply targeted approaches that address individual client needs, including communication, regulation, attention, motor planning, and overall learning readiness. This combination of allied health expertise and animal assisted therapy enhances the depth and effectiveness of each session, supporting more individualised and meaningful client outcomes.

Supports are currently provided in South Australia and are rapidly expanding nationally.
