Equine assisted therapy offers a calm and supportive space to slow down, reflect and reconnect.

Working alongside Horses allows you to explore what’s going on for you in a gentle, natural way without pressure or expectation. You don’t need any Horse experience, just a willingness to show up.

  • Assistance animal trainer/assessor
  • Undertaken training to work alongside animals
  • Mentor, psychosocial recovery coach or lived experience
  • Registered Counsellor
  • Certificate 1V Social Science Justice, Bachelor Mediation and Advocacy, Graduate Diploma Dispute Resolution, Equine Assisted Mental health Practitioner
  • Animal-Assisted Therapy (AAT) delivered by a registered health professional with education and specialized expertise within the scope of practice of his/her profession.
  • Animal-Assisted Activities (AAA) which incorporates a trained handler and animal team to provide comfort, distraction, motivation & stimulation to people in a variety of settings.
