Deeper Soul Connections are proud to offer equine assisted learning and development programs to help disengaged and disadvantaged youth, people living with trauma, and NDIS participants from all walks of life to improve their communication skills, emotional regulation, and confidence, thus leading to greater independence.
This is an effective program using horsemanship skills, mindfulness techniques and innovative strategies to teach the importance and impact that body language and energy projection has when communicating with others.

It is specifically designed to teach communication skills and body language awareness. By using horses as a guide, we teach participants about how their own dominant personality types predispose them to certain body language and energy projection, particularly when under stress. When our participants learn techniques and awareness of human-to-human communication, they can lower anger, lower anxiety, learn to focus, and use these skills throughout their lives. Practicing with horses engages the participant’s attention and takes the glare off the individual, projecting onto the horse, which enables them to feel calm, confident, and safe.
