The team at Ability Horsemanship, led by Anna Rimac, delivers equine-assisted coaching that supports movement, confidence, and behavioural awareness for children and adults with a wide range of physical, neurological, and emotional needs. Sessions are tailored to suit all areas of interest and include horse riding, groundwork, herd care and liberty sessions. Anna’s practical experience in therapeutic riding environments (since 2013), includes coaching, herd management, and program development.
The team’s approach focuses on real-time observation, safety, and the dynamic interaction between horse, human, and environment. Sessions are tailored to the individual and use the horse as a responsive partner, helping participants develop greater self-awareness, emotional regulation, coordination, and independence. The physical movement of the horse while being ridden engages dormant muscles and provides gentle, rhythmic movement. This work is particularly effective for individuals who benefit from experiential, non-verbal learning environments where trust, boundaries, and communication can be developed in a practical and engaging way.
