I created this space from a deep belief that healing, growth and confidence does not happen within four walls…it happens in open paddocks, muddy boots, quiet moments beside a horse, and through real-life experiences that build resilience from the inside out.

With a background in counselling and a passion for equine-assisted learning, I support children, teens and adults — particularly those with additional needs or mental health challenges — to build emotional regulation, confidence, communication skills and self-belief. My approach blends therapeutic frameworks with hands-on, practical experiences alongside horses and other animals in a safe, supportive outdoor environment.

I believe in a calm presence, clear boundaries, and creating opportunities for people to problem-solve, take initiative and discover what they are truly capable of. The animals here aren’t just part of the program — they are teachers, co-regulators and partners in the journey.

The Haven isn’t just a service. It’s a place to belong, to grow, and to rediscover your strength.
